More Information About Our Office.

What we do!

The Office of Minority Male Health recognizes the need for focus on the special health  and health education needs of minority males.  Being educated and well informed about the many problems and solutions affecting our health  enables people to live better lives and make more informed decisions.   Hence we are involved in providing information to the male members of the community and create awareness of the dangers that arise from living unhealthy lifestyles.  We organize educational seminars  and workshops within the community to provide information regarding serious health threats to minority males. We also organize and participate in health fairs both in and outside the campus community reaching out to minority males of all ages.

Why Are We Involved?
The primary reason for our involvement is because of the large number of health disparities in the minority male population in our society. There is a real need for more education among the minority males in society.  There are many who suffer due to lack of information and are harmed by chronic disease that are preventable or curable.  A healthy family, leads to a healthy society, which yields a healthy nation.

Where Are We Located?
We are within the First Historically Black University in the United States, Lincoln University, PA. Our offices are located in Grim Hall Room 119.
